Take Those Precious Moments.

Take Those Precious Moments by LittleSparrow Loved

I know how busy life can be! I know that even with good intentions to sit, relax, talk with God... the day to day running of things can get in the way.

The past few weeks for me, have been exactly that. Between the daily house chores, rounding up the children, appointments, doing paperwork for our businesses and then all the regular, mundane daily chores... there really isn't much more I could squeeze in. As I have laid my head down countless nights after a full day, the thought has often occurred to me. I didn't spend anytime with my Father God. And that same thought alone saddens me.

For me personally, when I don't make the time to sit with God and study His word, I notice the changes within me. I begin to stress out more, I start thinking and doing within my own strength and lean on my own understanding. Sometimes, the results from that aren't the desired outcome I was looking for.

Beautiful daughters of God, maybe you haven't read your bible in a few days, weeks or even months. Hey, don't beat yourself up about it. Our Father knows us so well. He knows our struggles, our failures, our busy home lives and most of all... He knows that we will always come back to seeking His will, His way, His love!

So take those precious moments. Find them in the mundane chores, the car drive, the washing, the working. Talk to Him, focus on the beauty of your surroundings, sleek away and dive into studying your favourite scripture, listen to a podcast or turn on some worship. Wherever you can, soak yourself in God's glory and be refreshed.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart

and lean not on your own understanding;

6in all your ways submit to him,

and he will make your paths straight. - Proverbs 3:5-6
